Prolong the lifespan of your Fender Rhodes:

Some Fender Rhodes suffer from the breaking down of more and more pick-ups. The reason for this could be that the varnish was removed to far away or the wires were soldered too hot thus melting the varnish of the copper wires. The result is that the bare copper get exposed to air with oxidation (green colour) as a consequence. This results in making the wires thinner and thinner and in the end leaving you with an open circuit. If you don′t want this happening to your Rhodes, open it up, and put some nailpolish (any colour will do) on the soldering pins of the pick-ups. Even when you haven′t got any poblems with the pick-ups yet, this precautionary measure won′t hurt.
